Investing in your child’s education is one of the most important decisions. This section provides you an overview about the admission process and the eligibility criteria to take an admission in LIS, DEHRADUN.

Admissions are open throughout the year, but are strictly subject to availability of seats. In Classes X and XII, the academic year commences in April.

Admission Process

At LUCENT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, DEHRADUN, we have strived to make our admission process as simple as possible to ensure that all prospective parents enjoy a hassle free application experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Class with entry age at the start of academic session

Foundation/Pre-Primary

Nursery-Prep – 3 – 6 Years

Class I & II – 6 – 8 Years

Class III to V – 8 – 11 Years

Middle

Class VI to VII – 11- 14 Years

Secondary

Class IX to XII – 14 – 18 Years

The age criteria for admission in different classes will be in accordance with NEP.

Step 4: Form Submission

The parent needs to fill up the Registration forms/Admission form and ensure all documents are in order. The following documents need to be submitted along with the Registration Form

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Parents are requested to submit the following documents along with the Admission Form at the time of admission:

1. Birth Certificate.

2. Current Residence Proof (Ration Card/Voter Id Card/Utility Bill/ Rent Agreement/Sale Deed/ Aadhaar Card).

3. Photo ID proof of both the parents (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/Voter Id-Card).

4. 4 Passport size latest photograph of the child and both the parents.

5. 2 passport size latest photograph of the legal guardian (if applicable).

6. Academic Progress Card of the previous class attended by the student.

7. Blood group report of the child.

8. Attested copies of legal document if the child is being brought up by a single parent.

9. Affidavit of the Guardianship is to be submitted if the student lives with a local guardian.

10. Original Transfer Certificate from the last school attended (only for students seeking admission in Class II onwards).

11. Original Character Certificate from the last school attended (only for student seeking admission in grade XI).

12. Original Migration certificate (only for NON-CBSE student seeking admission in grade XI).

NOTE: The school shall have the sole discreation to seek any further documents (if any) as required.

Step 5: Payment of Fees and Admission Confirmation

Once the above steps are satisfactorily completed, parents can proceed with the final step of admission process i.e., pay the applicable fees for their ward to confirm admission. Refer to Fee Structure available.
